Gypsy has one of the most dense and heaviest fleeces we have produced on our farm, loaded with bright white luster,extreme staple length, and elite fineness. Gypsy is sired by our great herdsire, Accoyo Grand Luster, who has one heck of a pedigree. One the paternal side you have Santiago and NGG Accoyo Kori (she is the dam of the great Durango who last I heard was bought and imported Austrialia). On the maternal side you have a of Uribe, Helios, Accoyo America Sonnetina, Bruxo, and Ganador...this is an incredible lineup of powerhouses! OAF Lumen (who many people know and still talk about), who also we bred here on the farm and sold to a very smart farm, is a paternal half sister to Gypsy had a histogram of 15.8 AFD, 2.6 SD and over 30 0.04. Tina, Gypsy's dam, has produced many greats for us including Suri Networks fleece Show Reserve Champion Secret Formula.
Gypsy's lines are a cross of Accoyo genetics and specialized fleece characteristics that continue to be instrumental in improving the Suri Alpaca in EACH GENERATION. We have Gypsy in line to be bred to OAF Commandor's Wingman as soon as she is shorn 6/6/15. fleece picture coming soon.
